Challenge: Assistance required for the Portuguese client and two third-party inspection agencies, BV and SGS, in inspecting and supervising the loading of six containers (including one containing dangerous goods) of medical supplies. The goal was to transport them safely and efficiently to the port of Luanda, Angola, in Africa, while meeting strict regulations and standards throughout the process.
Solution: With a comprehensive transport plan in place, the process involved booking shipping space, container pickup, preparation of special documents (MSDS, Dangerous Goods Declaration, Road Transport Permit), warehouse labeling, inspection, palletizing, container loading, customs clearance, port entry, shipping, issuance of bills of lading, and provision of various certificates. Drawing on extensive experience in container transportation, we provided professional services for the transportation of dangerous goods, ensuring compliance and safety throughout the transport process.
Result: Successfully assisted the International Red Cross in the international transportation of dangerous goods and general cargo containers. This helped transport essential medical supplies for African refugees, including medical cotton, syringes, hemostatic patches, and plague-preventing materials. We earned the trust and praise of the client.
